SMS Messaging Terms

VetXpert uses SMS text messaging to send you account verification codes and claim status notifications. By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box during registration, you agree to the following terms.

What Messages You Will Receive

You will receive: (1) One-time verification codes when creating your account or signing in, and (2) Claim status update notifications if you have SMS notifications enabled in your account preferences. Messages will never contain medical details or protected health information.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Verification codes are sent only when you log in or need to verify your identity. Claim notifications are sent when your claim status changes. You can expect to receive between 1 and 10 messages per month depending on your usage.

How to Opt In

You opt in to SMS messages by providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent checkbox during account registration at our signup page. Consent is not a condition of purchase, though a verified phone number is required for account security.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You can also disable SMS notifications in your account notification preferences. To re-subscribe, reply START or update your preferences in your account settings.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. VetXpert does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier's standard messaging rates will apply.

Supported Carriers

SMS messages are supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your phone number and SMS consent information are kept confidential. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. For full details, see our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
